A Brief History of "Lost"

"Lost" was born on 22 September 2004 on the ABC Network. From the moment Jack Shephard opened his eye and saw the blue sky above him through the swaying bamboo forest, "Lost" took the nation by storm! It revolutionized the serialized drama, posed questions that would be answered by more questions. Running for six strong seasons, "Lost" is one of the few shows to be lucky enough to finish their story on their terms when they negotiated with the network to run until their story ended naturally.

The first season taught us about the survivors of Oceanic 815 who were seated in the mid-section of the airplan. The second season introduced us to the 815 Tailies. Season 3, the mysterious Others. Season 4 catapulted the Island into chaos. Season 5 jumped us through time and we met the DHARMA Initiative. Season 6, the final season, ended the battle between good and evil that consumed the Island for centuries. Through all these seasons we learned of the characters past, their present, their future, and what happens after they died.
